World Condom Day: WHO Harps on Public Awareness, Re-educate, Re-engage to Promote Safe-Sex

The World Health Organization (WHO) has joined other communities to celebrate world condom day while imploring the need to re-educate, re-invigorate, and re-engage the global as they prepare for Valentine’s Day.

World Condom Day which is commensurate on the 13th of February is a day which is set aside by the International AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) to promote safer sex practices and raise awareness about the importance of condom use in preventing Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STIs) and Human Immune Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

WHO says it’s important to bring visibility back to condoms as the safe, inexpensive, and highly effective tool to prevent unplanned pregnancies, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STIs), Human Immune Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
