The Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, H.E. Adeboyega Oyetola has charged all stakeholders to forge partnerships that will propel the blue Economy to achieve the Federal Government’s sustainability ideals in the maritime sector.
This was confirmed in a press statement by Gift Osime and signed by the director of the sector Zakari Tahir M. In an opening of 2- day Ministerial Stakeholders in Abuja, May 14 2024.
“Let us seize this opportunity to forge partnerships, foster innovation, and propel Nigeria’s Blue Economy towards a prosperous and sustainable future,” Oyetola said.
Oyetola further emphasizes the importance of the sector and the government’s commitment to the growth of the sector.
“This is even as he noted that “The government has identified this sector as a pivotal area of focus, and we are committed to creating an enabling environment that supports your businesses and promotes the growth of the sector as a whole”.
