HAPPENING NOW: Tinubu Returns to Abuja After 10 Days in Overseas

President Bola Tinubu has returned from his trip abroad after days of speculations over his whereabouts.

The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), reported that the president returned to Nigeria, on Wednesday morning in its news flash a few minutes ago, and monitored in Abuja.

The NTA simply said: “President Bola Tinubu returns to Abuja after his trips to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.”

The President’s location after his trips to Saudi Arabia on the 29th of April, in attendance of the World Economic Forum WEF, was a topic for speculations as his return home generated concerns.

But yesterday, Special Adviser to the President on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced in a post on his X handle that the president would return to Nigeria on Wednesday.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,”Onanuga wrote.
