NBS Reveals Five-Year Capital Importation Showing Decline

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has unveiled a comprehensive report detailing the total capital importation into the country over the past five years.

According to NBS, the total capital importation into the country over the past five years has seen a significant decline.

Starting from 2019 with $23.99 billion, the figures dropped to $9.68 billion in 2020, followed by a further decrease to $6.70 billion in 2021.

In 2022, the total capital importation fell to $5.33 billion, and the trend continued in 2023 with only $3.91 billion recorded.”
