Easter: IGP Orders Round-the-Clock Security, Public Protection

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has ordered state commissioners to deploy Police personnel operations in areas of likely security threat within their jurisdiction (AoRs) especially in worship centers, train stations, highways, motor parks, airports, waterways, recreation centres, train stations and financial institutions

This is confirmed in a press statement by the public relation officer in Abuja, Olumuyiwa Adejobi

Egbetokun, says this is a way to reassures Nigerians of their commitment in ensuring the safety and security of all citizens and visitors during the upcoming Easter Celebrations.

IGP felicitates with Nigerians especially the Christian Community on the Easter Occasion while urging all citizens for their support and call to cooperate with security agencies in reporting suspicious activities.
